Can't Load Expansion Sounds

Got the Ren about a week ago and just got to playing around with it. The one thing I can't figure out is why can't I load or hear the expansion sounds, ie: Wub, Noise and the 809? I see the list in the Browser folder showing the wav file but it won't auto play or load for me. I thought to reinstall the sounds but I want to hear if anyone else had a similar issue. All the other sounds are fine.

The MPC Expansions, Wub/809/Bank/Noise, are all plugins.

You access the sounds by changing the MPC Software track type to plugin, and then loading one of those plugins onto the track.

I don't think you got a full answer. after you choose plig-in, you have to load a patch to hear that particular VST. with the included expansions, you can scroll thru the sounds from the software interface directly, but to make it easier press the + button next to the plug-in name. when you do that, the plugin interface pops up, then hilite the patch and it loads up (although with a little lag). hope this helps some

And if no midi keyboard connected, you may find it easier to press the keys on the graphical keyboard or drums GUI of the VST window as the first bank on hardware is not mapped to "C1" of the midi keyboard
