SOLVED! Want to use vst minimonsta with mpc studio. not work

hey.

i am totally new to this vst / plugin stuff. so i am not sure if this is a bug, or this is a problem with me doing it incorrect.

i want to use the minimonsta as vst for my studio. if i am scanning for new / recsan all plugins the software found all vsts in my plugin folder. but they appear in red letters, somehow indicating that smthng not working. i cannont click on the vsts either.
my extention plugins are working.




so am i doning something wrong? can it be that the minimonsta vsts are not working with software?
if i am doing a search for vst i don´t get any hit in the forums.

using mac 10.6 & mpc studio 1.5
please help. without bass i cannot make beats...

The plugs in read mean they do not load...usually this has to do with trying to load 32bits plugins in 64 bit mpc software or the oposite. You should check wich platform are your plugins in an run mpc in this same platform.
I would recomend you to use 64bits mpc soft and to get yourself a copy of jbridge to load the 32bits plugins in it, I am very happy with jbridge. But is not completly necessary.

To switch between 32 and 64 bit on OSX:
The MPC app is a universal binary meaning it can run in with 32- or 64-bit mode. The default is 64-bit (*so all your 32-bit plugins should be in red letters during the scan process). To change to 32-bit mode, go to your Applications folder. Select the MPC app, commas-click and select "Get Info". Check "Open in 32-bit mode."

As TT_Lab pointed out, 32-bit mode only opens 32-bit plugins; 64-bit mode only opens 64-Bit plugins.

thanks you BOTH... it was the 32 bit issue. am opening now in the 32bit modus. now i can access the minimonsta... HELL YEAH!!!!!
