Seeing as you so kindly answered with sarcasm you must have all the answers, I am using track1 and my samples appeared on track 2 I would like to put drums there but I can't get rid of the samples on the pads of track2, sample edit doesn't work, the erase button seems there for show and I don't want to delete the stuff on the right because I'm sure it will take them from track1.
Edit: MPC studio.

You initially didn't say what mpc so how can anyone give you an answer or help. I never said and never will say I have all the answers.
While it's playing on the track with sample you wanna erase, did you try holding down the erase button + that sample to be erased?

Yes I did, It's to do with the program, the only way to add a drum is to switch programs but then I can't hear the sample.

You're trying to fly before you even haven't learn how to walk. This is confusing yourself and even us. We're getting the idea you don't even understand the basics and the basic terminology and how the MPC is set up.
Study the Glossary chapter of the manual starting from page 115. Read, learn and understand what a PROGRAM and a SEQUENCE is.
Then study chapter 4.3, How to record a drum pattern, all the way till chapter 4.6.
