Hi

I have been working with the mpc 1000//JJOS for a while, but I'm curious about the mpc renissance. I like the mpc 1000 because it makes it possible for me to create music without using a laptop/computer. I have a number of synths connceted thru the midi outs.

I know that it (for some reason) the renissance needs to be connected to a computer, but is it possible to work on the mpc without using the computer the same time.

I would like to have a somewhat more advanced sequencer functionality in the mpc, and larger drum library. ANd specificaly like the x0x-like sequencing the renissance seem to offer

The Ren and Studio hardware are only brainless controllers (no cpu, no hard drives, no ram).
