Can MPC Essentials open legacy files?

I know the Essentials can open Ren/Studio projects. I also read the manual and you can export to MPC 1000/2500 from Essentials. But can you open MPC 1000 projects in Essentials?


From that point I can set up a template in my Daw and process further.

Tutor and a rep from Akai helped me out. Essentials does not open hardware legacy files.

I did test JJOS 3 importing in MPC STUDIO demo and all the songs imported like JJos2xl projects with the midi/drum track swap.
