how can i stop a pad?

i use my mpc ren live so two days ago i hit by accident the pad i was going to play (song track) and another pad by accident and i wanted to stop the pad i didn't wanted to play...

how can i do that without stop the other pad.

No chance, either set it to NOTE ON to only play as long as the pad is pressed (PROG EDIT > MODE / LFO) or you assign another (silent) pad to mute the respective one (PROG EDIT > MASTER > MUTE TARGET). Another possibility: to use PAD MUTE, although I never tried that live myself.

Best way would be avoiding to hit the pad in the first place. :lol:
