Hi!

01_ I was wondering if there is a way to copy the automation values from one Pad of a Program, to another Pad from another Program.

For example: let's say I want two different sounds (Pads) from two different Programs to automate (RT Level) exactly the same way and at the same time.

I tried selecting all the Automation Data from RT Level from one Pad, and Pasting it in the RT Level of another Pad, and it doesn't work…

02_ Is there a way to automate a whole program at the same time? (The QLinks can only control one Pad at a time…)

Thanks!

No, I've been scratching my head a year and half now about this.

2nd that. That's was the first thing I look for when the ren was released, because I used it all the time on the mpc5000. It broke my heart to see it not in the mpc software and no one ask for it.

I use it a lot in house tracks on synth filter tweaking.

Automation are really broken... for the moment...

I.E. :

- How to completely delete a simple automation track in a Midi/Prog/Plugin track ? Impossible.

- Automation definition is locked to quantification. Or while on free quantize, it writes an infinite amount of points that make the Soft crash.

- The Tracks mixer (volume / pan) value automation are not shown anywhere. ( Maybe i'm wrong )

- Q-link to pad effect params are not recorded.

- Can't record a complete program param automation or track insert params automation.

This side of the software really needs some serious work ! Please

I agree 100% comtox.
On the deleting automation side of things. If you hold down ALT while you are over the automation lane it turns into an eraser and you can erase all of the automation by "painting" over it with the eraser. Hope that helps a little.

p.s. it's some modifier key, I think ALT but it's been a few months since I've used the MPC software.
