problems studio (reaper and offline working)

1.
if i want to use reaper and studio at the same time, the studio controller always chrashes. means. that the software still runs, but the "hardware" does not respond... any solutions for this problems?

2. if i am working only with the software and my studio is not plugged in the software acts crazy. for exaple if i wanna change the bars in a song or change the order of sequences it is not working and the software does what it wants....

3. sometimes i have to switch my "hardware" a couple of times on and of before i can work with it, strange

coming from real hardware (mpc3000) i am not used to this nathy behaviour

please help me!!! the main problem is the reaper issues. the other things i can work around. but this reaper shiat drives me mad.

what version of reaper are you running?
What version of mpc software are you running?
What os/computer are you using?

Are you running mpc software as a vst? Or opening it as a host?
