Was wondering if anyone else possibly has run into this situation: I previously had both the Numark NS6 DJ controller and the MPC Renaissance connected to the USB ports on my Sony Windows 7 laptop (32-bit). Everything worked fine with both connected, and I was able to use both controllers at the same time.
After building a new Windows 7 (64-bit) PC, it seems there may be a driver conflict. After installing the OS and Windows updates, I downloaded the NS6 driver from Numark's website, installed, and connected the controller. Serato DJ was able to detect my DJ controller just fine.
I then popped the MPC Renaissance CD in and installed the MPC driver. Oddly, I was prompted that I had already installed the ASIO driver, but I chose to install again anyway. After installing, I can't use my NS6 and Ren at the same time. With both powered on, there is bad latency and audio distortion when using the Ren. Turning off the NS6 fixes the issue, but I really want to use both at the same time. The NS6 is my mixer and is plugged into the Ren for sampling purposes. It also is nice to scratch in Serato DJ while a beat is playing on the Ren.
One work-around I've seen is to completely remove all the drivers and then install the Ren driver and build from there. It seems like it could possibly work, but I was wondering if anyone else has encountered a possible conflict with these ASIO drivers.
