Hi, just wondered if any one else has had this problem or knows of any thing i can try to fix it.

I have the essentials software open as a plugin inside Live. When i hit play in Live the first note (beat 1 of bar 1) in my MPC sequence never plays back. It plays when the sequence loops but never when i press play.

The note is missing from exports also.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Do you have any time correct set? Perhaps your "first note" is appearing at the very end of the last bar in your sequence.

I am pretty sure this is a bug, this happened to me a couple times in the Ren software standalone, my first note would not play, had to double click to delete the note and click it back into the grid and than it triggered after I did that. Dunno if its the same thing you're experiencing.

I dont think that this is your problem but i had a problem with the sync in ableton.
I used the transport-play button on my mpc-studio to start ableton while the transport buttons were controling the mpc software. this caused that the mpc software got the "start" 2 times and was running out of sync.

I solved the problem for me by not starting ableton with the MPC-Studio "Play" button

Sometimes if I checked off "put notes before count in at beginning of sequence" under preferences that first note in my sequence would bug out sometimes and not play. Your on essentials and ableton so that makes things 10000x more complicated so I dunno. could be an ableton issue

I had the same problem in Cubase when using the arranger. Supposedly this was fixed in an update. Maybe the bug is still there in the elements software
