SAMPLING VINYL IN REN

hi guys trying to sample vonyl into ren through rca cables only getting sound out one speaker the other is completely distorted any ideas,it was working fine all along until i moved my studio setup and after reconnecting turntable i cant get it too work

Does your turntable have a built inpreamp? if not make sure your Rens preamp is switched to on, also make sure you are selecting the right inputs under Mpc Preferences

Didn't realize you were getting sound out one speaker, make sure your stylus is on right, sometimes mine does that, audio will drop from L or R channel if it gets loose or something, at least my turntable is like that, sometimes I have to push the wires in on the stylus a little

When you are getting OK sound in one channel, and distorted sound in the other channel, have you tried swapping the plugs from the turntable into the MPC around, to see if the distorted channel is happening in the Renaissance, or if it is happening before it gets to the Renaissance?

As suggested, check the headshell to tonearm connection, and maybe switch the Renaissance Line/Phono switch back and forth a couple of times, in case that is slightly in the wrong position.
