There is Step Edit
Mavericks I am not sure about how well it works, I am firmly 10.8

If you put up a list of things that you want to check are there from Step Edit I am sure people will respond.

As far as I am aware the main functions of Step Edit from across the range of 2k,3k,4k is in there.
But yeah double check it has everything u need as there are obviously differences between those machines too.

Thank you guys, i'll check out this soon, i'm on the way to buy one in a few weeks, but before, i want to be sure that it works fine with my new killa Imac 27" and Mavericks, i don't want to "downgrade" my OS for my MPC.... By the way, what about the Akai format CDrom's because i own 92, d'you think i can use them with the "studio" and the MAC, or what...? :smoker:

I'm running 10.9.1 Mavericks with 1.6. i don't really use step edit but just messed around with it after seeing your thread. Seems like it works fine. No crashes or bugs from what i can tell.

Thank you, it's good to know, because i don't want to get a MPC studio if the Os is not "working" properly with Mavericks... Just buy a Mac because it's so easy to work with, don't want get get f;;;!!! with crashing MPC OS...... I hope Akai is digging to make his Os fittting with Mavericks, it's their interest when selling machines that "go with" a computer, isn't it...?

Sounds like you have the Ren not the Studio if you're talking recording line in. Right?

I will say this: I just bought the Ren, had the studio, and now I can't even get the Ren recognized by the computer or software.

Sorry brother. Help me out and write InMusic and ask for Mavericks support for the Ren.
