MPC Studio - Q Link Start/End Points Question

Just picked up a studio. Is there any way to move the start/end points of a sample using the qlink knobs on the same row? For example, Qlink 1 moves start point, Qlink 2 moves end point (like JJOS), instead of having to scroll sideways to the separate row?

Of course not. But your right it would be more fluent to have start end in same row and rows be the speeds. Bottom q's zoom in/out. Great idea for the studio flow.

Only option would be a Ren, unfortunately.

Not unfortunate I have had both sold the studio. (Not cause it was bad, I didn't need it) the ren gives true control tru mpc feel nostalgically, and true flow. The studio is crammed. Even the 1000 had a button lay out that worked with your hand combos. I personally used two hand on the smaller interface of the studio where I pretty much one hand the ren for control.


Maybe unfortunate for cost difference. But with the price drops or used models online couple extra bucks will get you much more out of the usability and flow.

Yes!! I sold the Studio too! But I still enjoy it but hate Q-links and the other small buttons.. BUT Ren is much more expensive!!! x2 times the prise using the SAME software!!

Not sure what you ment with excitement and discourage....

Over a sold item you don't have anymore.

I think they are down to 800 at places. If that's still true you can find em for 7 that's not expensive. I believe I paid 575 for my studio. Another week of saving and your at the ren. Patience gets you things
