I just ordered a Ren and sell my studio, having some questio

My MPC studio running well w/Mavericks+1.5 and now 1.6 during the days I'm using it.
One of my friend likes it and bought it from me. So I ordered a Ren for myself.

But I found that you guys said Ren have some problems such as "no sound come out" ? or "Mavericks cannot recognise the Ren as a soundcard" ?

I'm wondering if I'm buying something worse than the cheaper one, or even no working at all, I will kill myself...

Can it work normally just like the "MPC studio with more knobs" ? If the "Ren soundcard"doesn't work, can I use the other soundcard ? My soundcard now using steinberg CI2+, it works.

Yes you can use what ever sound card you like. The ren works fine with mav. Diff go check out how the search works in this forum. We have been talking about this issue for three months. When making a beat the sound come out the ren sound card what the problem is the audio from iTunes or anything else on your computer will not come out of ren. Basicly ren doesn't have a sound card. Look at it like its a stand alone sound devise as of now.

So I think I should use the 3rd part sound card as the only one sound card, and plug my monitors, mic, into the sound card. And the Ren as the so call midi controller to work , will be fine. Am I right?

i wouldnt say so. the control with the Ren is hands down better then studio. yes bull shit they haven't fixed this but i just plugged my motu back in the system and all is good. for owners that want to minamize the set up and use the sound card you paid for in the Ren. well then this is a big issue. cause now there is no computer sound. fortunately most of us already owned a sound card......

Thank you, I totally understand what happened! All right , although it have some issue , but still can wait for the conclusion ...

no sweat hopefully they will get this fixed with the next update.
