I just took the leap and bought the mpc ren to replace my 2500. I bought a brand new model from a 3rd party dealer and received it without the mpc software. the only discs I have are the bank, the 809, and pro tools express but they've left out the only bit of software I need. is there any way to download this so I don't have to wait on the guy to send me a replacement? ive looked all over online and I can find updates but not the original software. if this option is unavailable it seems ridiculous to me as if I ever wanted to resell this (which isn't inconceivable considering its $1000) and I don't have the original dvd its pretty much worthless. I might be being a dumbass and missed something obvious but ive been on google looking for an answer and there seems to be none

Sounds like you purchased a used unit not a new unit.
You have to go thru some hoops to get your copy of PT and the iLok.
The fact that it's had the PT software and no MPC Software disk definitely sounds like it's a used setup not new.

I hope you didn't pay full price for a used unit with them being as cheap as they are new or used.

What makes it a problem is his first statement.

Sounds like they got him on it by selling him a used unit as new. :WTF:
