just in case anyone didn't see this... some encouraging news from last week:

pete tweeted this on may 9th:

"Started writing MPC 1.7 release notes. Not done yet, but at 31 new features. At least 6 are massive (IMHO). A number are just large. Plus…"

This year has seen some of the most difficult and exciting design discussions I've ever been involved in. This week is more of the same.

@petegoodliffe I would imagine the Mpc 1.7 software is part of these difficult and exciting design discussions. Would love some spoilers!

It would be pretty awesome if the reality of 1.7 surpasses the hype of 1.7 :)
as I am a big fan of under promise and over deliver.

I'm corydgipson on twitter. I've been trying to get Pete to give us more info about the update for a while now. It seems like its going to be a huge update. It's nice to know their working on it but I hope it comes sooner than later.

LOL.

As much as the next person, I'm really hoping that these releases are all awesome, but ya'll get too caught up in hype. Remember the hype from Elements? 1.5? 1.6? 2014 Namm?

:hmmm: c'mon folks...

IMHO, every time Pete has promised something good, it's usually been good. His output isn't as hyped as Akai's in general, imho.

I better stay silent in This One... :smoker:

This is going to be awesome, i'm sure. The few things we know they are coming are some of the most important, and it seems there are many more hidden...
