MPC Studio: Controlling VST plugin levels and sends

Hi, I've just started using the MPC Studio Controller. I installed a 303 plugin and have it playing fine but I'm unable to control the volume or the send effects of the 303 channel using the Track Mix option on the controller. I have to use the software to scroll along to the right on the Track Mix window to an area that shows plugin levels and change it there. Is there no way to control the mixer levels (and amount of send) of VST plugins from the hardware? It would be great to be able to mix the VST levels live without touching the laptop.
