MPC Renaissance Midi sequencing problem

I recently purchased MPC Renaissance with hope of ease sequencing my vintage gear like TR909.

I have a few problems with it and hope some of you can help, before I crack.

1. When creating midi track and sequencing TR909 in stand alone mode, When switching screens from main to "track Mute" it breaks down for a moment the transmission.

Any solution?

I understand i can sample my TR909 but what is the point if I have one? Even the oldesr gear is not dropping simple midi triggering.

2. I tried to sequencing my TR909 and other gear in plug in mode, but no joy at all. I followed all steps on note repeat / akai website to do this but no joy.


Any suggestions?
