Hey everyone, I'm starting to get on w. my Ren pretty nicely, but here's a question;

If I'm using the Ren to control an external midi keyboard, and I do a sequence, what's the best / fastest way to convert the audio to play from the Ren? (Freeing up the keyboard to do different sounds, etc)

I tried sampling it in, but then I have to trim the sample; is there any DAW-like way of just recording one pass of the pattern and then importing that audio into a program in the MPC?

I'm sure that there are ways out there but I've always just ended up trimming the sections. For me this ended up being faster than trying to find an alternative BUT I did find a sort of workaround in Logic 9 using punch-in/punch-out recording. What ever DAW you are using can probably do it just dig around in the manual or the program itself.
