Hey guys. I'm new to music production and recently have been using the MPC Studio in the standalone software. I have come to learn the fundamentals of building a beat and sequencing within the software, but now I am in need of help when it comes to syncing the MPC to Ableton Live. I have tried looking for help online via YouTube and other resources, but still cannot seem to figure out how to get these two beasts working together in harmony :hmmm:. Ideally, I would like to be able to simultaneously run the MPC software standalone and Ableton Live separately when making a beat. My question for you MPC experts is this: How can I build a beat in the standalone MPC software, and then track out each individual tracks from the MPC Software into individual tracks within Ableton Live for both mixdown and sequencing?

Thank you and I will be patiently waiting for some insight :Sigh:

I followed your instructions, however I don't understand how exactly they are synced together. For the sync source I used "MPC Studio Public". In Ableton Live, whenever I press one of my transport controls, the "hard disk overload indicator" icon in the top right corner flashes...What does this mean? Also how can I route audio from the MPC to Ableton using SoundFlower?
