Does anyone know of any good affordable/free bass Vst's that is compatible with mpc ren? Mainly for hip hop beats.

There is this one from DopeVst called bass engine that I hear good reviews of, but didnt try it myself...

I mostly use the wavetables, there are some nice basic waveforms in there that respond great to the shape parameter... but I really don't dig the arpeggiation/automation that is on a lot of the patches... I wish it would open on a basic keyboard sound or something, leave that dance music **** out
