Bass VST MPC REN

Does anyone know of any good affordable/free bass Vst's that is compatible with mpc ren? Mainly for hip hop beats.

Have you tried the Hybrid VST synth that is included in the MPC Software 1.7 update?

Hybrid is a really nice synth; I am seriously still baffled by the sound it produces. My Rob Papen SubBoomBass doesn't sound half as great.

i use "4 front bass module" its fray

its decent

gets the job done

you can do a lot of shit if you add the right filters and stuff also

Hybrid has 2208 patches in it,yes there are plenty of basses in there

i dont know what 2208 patch is

but im definitely going to check it out right now!

I think almost any bass can be done with hybrid or a virtual analog synth, like NI's monark (sounds great).
There is this one from DopeVst called bass engine that I hear good reviews of, but didnt try it myself...

its so **** dope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

one thing that i found that is cool but kind of sux too..

is that it speeds up or slows down depending on what you set bpm too ;p

Here is a simple bass I made.
For more beef put the osc 3 level up to taste.
Also the osc2 is there to make it howl a little more. just ajust level to taste.

He meant that's how many patches/presets/different sounds it has!!!

I'm quite impress with Hybrid as well..

@pituchez if you sit and tweak hybrid you could come up with almost any tye of bass sound you want...

I like hybrid too, does anyone know how to change the default patch however? I mostly use the wavetables, there are some nice basic waveforms in there that respond great to the shape parameter... but I really don't dig the arpeggiation/automation that is on a lot of the patches... I wish it would open on a basic keyboard sound or something, leave that dance music shit out

i bought the Bass engine Plugin for the MPC Ren.

Now my software is keep crashing.
I downloaded the newest version of Dove VST and followed the instructions.
How is your expirience with the the Bass engine? Do you have any solutions für my problem?
