pro tools xspand plugin and mpc renaissance

Before I got the mpc renaissance I had pro tools express then when I did get the mpc it came with pro tools express but I didn't install that pro tools cuz I already had it. I'm trying to get the xspand plugin from pro tools to open in the mpc but it won't could it be cuz the pro tools I have installed isn't the one that came with the mpc renaissance?

The Xpand plugin that comes with Pro Tools is an RTAS type plugin, is it not going to work inside MPC Software.

You can not use Pro Tools RTAS/AAX plugins within MPC Software, only VST (and AU on Mac) plugins.

If you want to use Xpand within MPC Software, you would have to buy Xpand!2 in VST/AU format.
