So I'm using a PC with my MPC Ren at home as my main set up for making beats etc.

I'm currently looking into getting a macbook pro as well so I can improve our live shows but also so I have something portable to make beats on.

I was thinking about getting an MPC Studio so I can easily switch between the mac and PC and work on the same beats on the same software without any issues.

Just wanted to clarify whether I would have any problems working this way?

Thinking the Studio might actually be overkill as I'm essentially paying for the hardware and software, when I already have the latter?

How is the MPC Software authorised? Can I use the same authorisation on two different machines?

I have the Ren software on a Win7 tower and a Macbook.

Authorized on both. I think you get 5 computers.

And the software launches on either now without the Ren attached.

Excellent. Do you find there are any problems working on the same project and moving between machines?

I'm guessing so long as the samples and plug-ins etc are on both machines it will work smoothly
