hardware only question???????????????????????????

how the hell do i add an effect to the program through hardware only?

right now what i did was chop a sample. made new progy

then i click on program edit and i go to effects and add a filter but it only affects the pad that i touched not the whole program.

wtf!

double tap "prog mix" (or shift + prog mix) to get to track mix. hit insert (F5) and select the effect you want on the program you want....

You can select EDIT modes MULTIPLE or ALL for applying the same filters and other program settings to multiple/all pads. Just remember setting it back to CURRENT when you're done doing that.

yea thats how i had to end up doing it..

so you cant add effeects anymore to a program then? atleast not through the hardware...
i can do it on the software.

i selected edit modes all..
and it still just applies to one pad... ;( wtf!

even the pad lights turn on and shit.

You're doing it wrong WTF! Make sure your PROG MIX button is yellow, not red...

man this quest for hardwaredom only is pretty hard

can i create a new program within the hardware? and everytime i try to assign a pp to a pad i go to assign slice and it only assigns one slice of the pp... not the whole thing.

ok so i added the stuff on software then went and searched hardware..

so now i know how to add effect through hardware

would be cool if you could see the speed of bars on the hardware during sample edit mode as well and not just sequence mode ;D
