Recording into Logic X through MPC Renaissance

just out of the blue my recordings in Logic sounds **** up. I was trying to make a humble dj mix and suddenly everything I record sounds distorted like hell. And after 30/40 seconds the volume starts to fade out to zero.

I set my direct monitoring to input. Shouldnt affect anything, but who knows. When I only play a record with turntable/dj mixer outs to with the Ren there's no distortion.

Anyone who also experienced this?
