So I updated to version 1.7 which was working fine. Then last night I updated to 1.7.1 for no reason at all lol but i started experiencing crashes. I never had any problems with crashing until now. I use a macbook pro. My question is if I want to switch back to 1.7 whats the best way to do that on a mac? Version 1.7 is still in my downloads list so if I just click to install it, will it overwrite 1.7.1 or do I have to uninstall 1.7.1 first. Also should I back up my beats before I reinstall 1.7? I did notice that 1.7.1 seem to load things a lot faster. I see that it remembers mixer filters but other than that, this is not a huge update.

1.7.1 shouldn't be less stable than 1.7, I suspect it's either something else causing it or perhaps a bug you'd just not come across.

To go back to 1.7, uninstall 1.7.1 using the provided uninstaller in Library/Application Support/MPC, reboot computer and install 1.7. Should work without a problem, your registration settings are retained.
