I know that there were a couple people besides myself that have the issue of not being able to select/choose the output you want for your audio interface, I spoke with Akai a while back and the tech said that he would add it to the feature request but I got a feeling that Akai may overlook it on the next update unless we make it known that this feature is important to us. I know that the developers frequent this forum so I figure if everyone that has an issue with this feature being missing from the Ren post a complaint then Akai will take issue with it and address it accordingly. Thanks.

I am using a motu 828 MK3 and a while back I had an incident while using the first pair of outputs (Mains 1-2), somehow it switched to full volume all by itself without me touching anything and it blew my $1500 monitors, I got them fixed but they were never the same. Since then I have purchased new monitors and I refuse to connect them to "Mains 1-2" outputs so now I use the next set of outputs "analog 1-2" and things work well now. But with the update of Ren version 1.7 Akai has taken the ability to select the outputs that you want and this just doesn't work for me so AKAI will need you guys to add this feature back ASAP.

Me too! I used to be able to route the outputs through channels 7&8 of my soundcard which allowed headphone monitoring. Now the software defaults to channels 1&2 I have to route those outputs to an external mixer. It makes the MPC Studio less flexible for on the road beat making.
