I am having a serious issue recording note repeat snares hates etc. with a q-link assigned tune effect to adjust the pitch. For example... In an MPC 1000 you can record trilling snares while holding note repeat and adjust the tune with the q-link slider. In the renaissance I can record one instance of a note repeat with tune adjusting assigned but when I overdub in another track with the same intentions the q-link resets and I lose all the previous tuning done with the q-link. This is hella frustrating! How do I just maintain/keep the recorded notes with tune adjusted without the mpc forgetting what I had done when I go to record a new "tune adjusted note repeated" section??? This is rather hard to explain in words. Anyone out there know what I mean? This is particular to Trap production with the note repeated 808 snares etc. Basically holding note repeat while cycling through 1/8 1/16/ 1/32 1/64 while detuning with a q-link knob..

first of all
trap sucks

but are you using the same program and recording the hi hats?
if so you have to duplicate program so you wont change the parameters of the first hi hats.

and make sure its recording the automation/tuning.
i had this problem before.
it doesnt work to well.
mmight be a bug.
hope they fix it s00n
