pad mute pissing me off

im using a 2 bar bass loop in a 6 bar sequence
if i press mute at the begin of the event it will mute it. but if i unmute mid loop it still wont unmute until it reaches the 3rd bar which is when the loop starts again. god damn it. why?!

....and that "note on" event (pad bang for this situation) isn't started again until the loops swings back around.

wtf? it only mutes midi events? tht sounds like bs..

and why would it wait till loop starts again? ugh.

i guess the only way to do it then is to copy program and samples and do "silence" on them...ugh

Pad mute actually did what it's designed to do.
You misunderstood it's purpose and execution.

You were thinking audio muting/unmuting.
It does note event muting/unmuting.

It doesn't come back until the loop starts because the pad bang/note event/trigger is right at the beginning.

I would like to formally request audio muting/unmuting.....wait....couldn't that be an automation function....hmmmm.

I would like to thank Lampdog for making me 'work with what I have available to me'
You know, like us old people have been able to do.

I think you are getting sarcastic awnsers because they are to kind to threat you with the truth.

The truth is. You are an ignorant & childish guy that tries to act like a really hard MF with all that **** & **** & wtf & **** garbage you spread all over the forums. If you are older than 15 years .. shame on you. but i think it´s probably simply your age boy. otherwise you are simply dumb as ->"****"<-
But no matter what case and what you are trying to show us... it really doesn´t work dude...

Go there : http://www.instructables.com/id/What-is-MIDI/

think & understand ......

after that rerecord your basstrack from 0-6, set midi trigger note at the very start of your track with "one-shot" and adjust your mute timing accordingly the knowledge you have gained through that link above...

hmmm
ok i have a better understanding of midi now..
so i guess i have to automate it my self if i want to mute on/off certain shit ;/
lame

So many shit posts in this threads, and most of them are from people who should know better.

Image

Turn instant track mute on, track mute will now work how you expect it to - events will still trigger samples while the track is muted (but their audio will be muted), and you can unmute it and have the samples continue...
