Anyone else feel the pads are too sensitive? Especially with mono mode or pad groups....
I get double triggering on the same pad(really really fast) when hitting a pad once and the second hit of course is really soft causing the sample to be played back to low for how hard i hit the pad... Like the retrigger cancel time needs to be longer(maybe .2 .3 ms more)

I'm more heavy handed when drumming... and like to have more dynamic(wider) range from soft to hard hits on the pads... I feel the spectrum(from low to high) is too shallow...

IF you know what i mean....

Anyone else feel the same?

hells no...

if anything sometimes i barely touch the and they arent triggered.

but if you go to preferences > hardware you can fux around with the settings there if you havent already ;\

I have my pad sensitivity set to 7.. I'm probably going to lower it more because I'm also pretty heavy handed, and even on that setting most of my drumming comes out at full velocity.

I think a lot of the double hits I encounter come from my finger actually doing a tiny flam when it hits the pad like a stick on a snare skin. I've noticed that the angle you come down on the ren pads can contribute to this. I used to drum with my finger at a 45 degree angle to the pads, now I try to keep it closer to horizontal (but still get those super low velocity double hits occasionally). Maybe it is just an issue with the retrigger time...

yea..sometimes i get a lil "double double" hit too.. it is kind of annoying but im pretty sure its just me pressing the bad..who knows..
doesnt happen all the time

could be, but the older mpcs dont really have this issue at all.. you need to be heavier fingered/handed with the older mpcs, but the retrigger time is probably longer..
