Make sure legacy projects work on 1.8

They need to work on 1.6 projects working on 1.8 before they even think about releasing the OS.

Bells and whistles are fine. but I'm still on 1.6 because some projects refuse to cross over to 1.7 let alone 1.8 without error

There is nothing going to be changed with this. This is just how it is with the new mixer unfortunately, in order to maintain the original sound of your project. If you used a whole bunch of sequences in 1.6, then my suggestion is to do the project program clean up that I mention below. Other alternatives are combining all of your sequences into one in 1.6, delete the original sequences, then load the project in 1.7/1.8 and separate the sequences again. Or, just use 1.6 for 1.0-1.6 projects.
