recording any automation

Hi There Guys 'n Girls.

I have a problem when i want to record automation(any automation)
Drawing the autom works, adjusting works but not while recording and/or overdub.
Have been watching and reading a lot the last couple of days, but no succes.

Anyone got ideas?

should be working when you go into overdub mode and record it...

i recorded some shit like that in 1.6 but not recently

if you look on the mixer there is a small box. you have to click it till it s red. green reads automation. red writes automation
