how do i sample music? what do i need to sample music?

i need help because i do not know how to sample? i know some people use turntables and vinyls, but i dont have any of that yet because im new to producing. i want to sample because i have some ideas but i dont know what i need in order to sample? do i need to buy a turn table and some vinyls in order to sample or can i just pull up a song and do it like that? really need some help and i appreciate you for helping me, thank you.

But you should really take a look on YouTube bro

You could cut snippets of audio from songs on your hard disk using an audio editor; e.g., Audacity is free. I use TwistedWave for that.

If you want to sample from the web or apps on your computer, you can use apps such as Audio Hijack for that.

yes, but i want to know how do i load the music i have on my computer onto my mpc. or like you said music from youtube onto my mpc.
