Guys

Having the much talked about audio interface problems with the Ren (no setting that will do away with the pops and give me low latency). Currently running on a good PC. Have a brand new iMac that I'm thinking about opening up. The problem with the Ren as an interface seems to cross platforms too though. Questions:

If you're using an audio interface (other than Ren), is the Ren connected to the CPU via USB or Midi?

Is there any real difference in MPC software when using and external interface?

Final, for those using Mac, which interface (if any) are you using?

Use Roland external interface linked to an analogue mixing desk. Ren is connected USB to the Mac and sound output REN>Mac>Roland>Desk>monitors

No noticeable difference when using external interface? never used the Ren as audio interface so can't comment.
My interface is a Roland UA-55....solid it is

well stop thinking so slowly and open a computer that will have you selling the pc the next day.......
:WTF:

never a issue with the rens audio interface. other then my hardware issue. witch was fixed with the warranty.

i love the pc/mac battle. To me the only people that talk shit on mac are ones that don't put up the cash to get one. i mean simply if you know there are no virus issues and its pretty much plug and play. its only a pride issue why one would not upgrade. believe me pc guys i know some of you have some dope stuff that will blow a mac out the cyber water. but you spent almost as much money and a weeks worth of time building and researching to do that. and its totally worth it.

but i can make beats with any software, jack off to any porn, download torrents, and stream any film. {all at same time if needed  } and the box never has an issue.

just be cautious when loading any newer mac software os. they kinda are singling those lately.
