First suggestion is to invest in the downloadable e-book 'MPC Sampling Laid Bare' as it covers all the main techniques.(Links will be likely to be on to top of this very page!)
As with all things, there are different ways to achieve anything with the MPC, but with a simple looped sample (assuming you have adjusted the loop properly on the trim screen, you can stretch the sample (either affecting pitch, or 'time-stretching') to fit the required bar(s) length, from the chop screen save as a sequence and then manually adjust the slices or alternatively enter the chop screen, adjust the chop-lines to fit the required sample and then save as a patched-phrase sample, which will give you a new sample which will automatically adjust to your song tempo.
It's all in the e-book though, so would strongly suggest reading that first
