Mpc Renaissance paint is peeling

Is it only my Mpc Renaissance the paint is peeling off. Also the stop and play start buttons are completely faded away??? I had Ren for 2 years now.

I have bad paint too..does not affect to the beats.

Also i'm not too gentle to my Ren..after all it's made for working..
The flipside is still always there..

1.5 years...No paint peeling or button fading.

No peeling but my taptempo is going nuts 2 years and 3 months later

Sweaty hands can eat paint. Your body is packed with minerals and sodium smearing and dripping all over the machine with all that bad hygene. Wash your hands before and after eating and wash your hands after taking a shit. Then your hands will be less sweaty.

Well dam i do have a tone of other gear including older mpc models that this did not happen too.

Mines is peeling as well.

I recommend spraying a clear seal over new equipment to prevent stains and paint chips. Take precautions of covering up open sections that the spray can enter and cover the screen or just simply take it apart and spray the shell piece. Krylon has some excellent clear seals in high gloss or matte.You can make an MPC really shiny.

Where is the paint peeling? Around your transport buttons? Or around pads? No paint loss here.but my stop and playstart have almost lost all lettering.
