Guys,

I'm interested in using the following VSTs with my ren on my iMac:

NI Massive
NI Kontakt
RefxNexus
Sylenth

However, I went to the Sylenth site to purchase the VST, and read the following disclaimer:

"Sylenth1 is not compatible with 64bit hosts on Apple Mac OSX (e.g. Logic X, Ableton Live 9 64bit)."

Forgive me if this is a simple question, but does this mean I wont be able to use Sylenth with the Ren? I'm still learning my way around the "hosts" verbiage, so maybe im missing something, but it sucks if it means I wont be able to use it.

i'm using it with the Ren obviously you will just be running in the Ren in 32bit.

great plugin even though it's old. "an oldie but a goody" loads of presets around.

can also recommend korg m1.

Thanks for the response, this does however bring me into another question. Its my understanding that if you're running the Ren Software at 32bits, you cant run any of the other plugins that are at 64bits, which means I may not be able to run those other VSTs. Is there a way to be able to run both 32 and 64bit VST instances simultaneously in the Ren?

I wouldn't use jbridge on with the Ren bro. buggy as shit.. I mentioned my piece on it in another thread. I ended up buying Sound radix 32 Lives tho. Not cheap in comparison to the price of jbridge but so far its been well worth it. 32 Lives works with Sylenth as well.

Agreed. I forgot to mention that they sell the bundle on the site aswell :Sigh: : . I've bought both Jbridge and 32 Lives. I've went through torture with jbridge.

Not to diss his product but it cost me alot of time. But I guess it works different on other setups but I've reformatted my comp several times over the last few months. Same results.

I've had 32 Lives for about a week now and my Ren software moves a lot more stable and hasn't crashed unexpectedly.
I replace the Jbridge plugs with the 32 lives wrapped AU version. Plus my Ren hasnt taken 30 years to shut down since. Only when I load up the sessions with jbridge plugs, is when I see the weird behavior.

For those who are on Mac OSX I strongly suggest you use 32 Lives or try it out. I'm currently using it right now on Mavericks.
