I have dead time during day job but I cannot work ma beats.

In short, it would be cool to have a simple app that would allow me to load tunes and chop. Get home, drag files from phone into computer, then to MPC software and just assign slices to pads.
A way to work chops non destructively like in 1.8 but on my phone.

There's an app i use a lot but it just works with wav files (no mp3) and you can only work 1 slice at a time and have to bounce each at a time.

Not only is it a great MPC type app with real time swing, non destructive chop, note repeat amongst others great features for android that im sure you, and other users will find useful...

It will allow you to edit, timestretch,pitchshift and chop your samples in the sample editor/slicer, and best of all
You can save your samples either as Wavs, Mp3s or in native Akai SND Format






Also you can save your chops mapped to the pads in an Akai format program file, which can be imported straight into the Akai Renaissance, MPC 2000xl, MPC 500,1000, and 2500 drum machines.

Man that's pretty ill, was hooked on the first 5mins and got the full version!
Now for the obligatory 5000 feature request list!

Though... It would be cool to have a sample editor stand alone just for creating slices.
Also, a more intuitive way of slicing, instead of having to access the menu every time I need to insert a new one. There's loads of space for at the bottom for a "insert new slice" button.
A surgical zoom, would also be a priority! Check Volkas sample editor, love its zooooooom
I like the left and right buttons to move slices but then again they could use more precision.
Last but not least, it takes a considerable amount of time to convert a tune before I can start choppin', it would be cool to have this nailed as well.

This is a brilliant App!!!!! Ive been onto the developer with hints and tips, and also because I get a bit of delay on the pads when using my Samsung S4... but on my Nexus 7 2013 tablet, it works flawlessly. Ive been told this is an issue that android suffers with called "latency".

Im not a fan of the graphics on some of the screens, but functionally... its a great MPC App for Android. Might even be better than AKAIs on ipad (Not sure never used).

I make a beat using the pads on one track, then use Track explode to split each pads recording onto its own track. Now, I can export my all my tracks as separate WAV files in one go to import into my DAW if i need too (I dont). I can adjust my notes recorded on a pad track in realtime. I dont really use it that way either. But im still amazed this can be done in an app for my phone.

My specific workflow is I chop my samples (using my phone), then i save/export the program and samples to AKAI MPC 1000/2500/500 pgm format. Then i can import that program into my Renaissance when i get home. Which is exactly what i was looking for. All for £5.99 (UK) the price of a large big mac meal, Worth every penny!
