I keep getting the error that says "You already have MPC running on this computer. You can only run one instance of MPC at a time".

looks like you're opening the MPC standalone first then Logic and then MPC as a plug in in Logic.. all you have to do is open Logic and then load the MPC as a plug in.. if this is not the case .. then you should definitely contact support.. but it sounds like you have the standalone app running and you're trying to use the plug in inside of a DAW... at the same time..

Annoying limitation when using the MPC software as a plugin. Doesn't look like they are moving in the direction of improving plugin capability either.

I'm interested in this to, as i would like to do all my sequencing with the MPC with the Logic instruments.
I think it is possible with Hardware MPCs to use LogicPro as a Sound Module. Just not sure how to do this with the MPC Ren/Studio.
Been trying to figure this out all week..

Theres a way to do it.. theres a post about it on the akaipro website.. but its not in full detail explaining the ren.. they give you a template for logic but its for the mpc500 I believe..but its the same technique.. I did it.. but it didn't record Logics midi.. but I was able to trigger logic as a sound module using MPC Ren..

I pretty much gave up!
Seen the MPC 500 setup..It seemed pretty confusing.
Greatly appreciate any help you could possibly shoot my way!
