loading MPC Renaissance Software

I asked this in another thread last week but it was never answered. I have a new Macbook Pro which doesn't have a disc drive for me to load the Renaissance software on to. Can I just go to the Akai website and download the driver without having to use the disc? Or, do I need to get an external Disc drive to use to load the software.

In answer to your question, just download everything from the Akai web site, no CD needed.

yeah the mpc software is on the site but I m sure that you need the disc for the bank and the other instruments

akai will give you a link to the iso's, you have to contact customer service.

I did not realize if I replied to the previous topic it would push it back to the top. Thanks for answer. From what I have gathered I do not need the disc to install everything properly.
