I've posted a couple times on this topic, but figured I'd start a thread to get some feedback on how folks are approaching this.
IMO the current export is non-intuitive. My workflow, I keep all samples in one program. In 1.6 I could load a project, go into song mode, export, separate tracks and would get an audio file for each track. Easy to import to DAW for mixing.
Since 1.7, this doesn't work this way anymore. Now, you can export separate audio tracks by program. What this tells me is that now an MPC project has to have a bunch of programs to achieve the same export result - basically a program for every track. So I have to have a kick drum on one program, a snare drum on another program, etc, etc.
But here's the thing, this can't be right. How is everyone doing this??? Or is no one exporting separate tracks for mixing anymore? With this new way of exporting separate wavs for mixing, if my song has 24 tracks, and I want 24 audio wavs for mixing, I have to have 24 programs??
Like I said, surely this can't be right... what is the best way to organize a project that allows for exporting separate wavs for mixing?
