1.8 Loaded but the Akai VSTi's will not play a sound. Firmw

Problem: 1. Since the firmware update (problem two) I have not been able to use the Akai - Wub, Bank, 809 or the Noise (help?).

Problem 2. When I test to check the update status of the firmware it says it's current but it shows the older version when I finished the firmware update. Firmware Update is not correct (help?).

I have read through many of the suggested firmware threads but have yet to get the firmware version to read as 1.10 and my suspicion is: the akai virtual instruments are not working because the firmware update is not installed correctly. Any Ideas?

Running OSX 10.8.2 Intel Core I7 32 GB Ram 1333 Mhz DDr3

I would try totally deleting the drivers and then trying to install the latest firmware.

Thanks for the advice.

I just uninstalled everything including the drivers then attempted to install the firmware update but it is still not showing as 1.10

I Suggest calling Akai, the tech support is pretty helpful (in my experience).
