Copying events not working

hi guys...sometimes in my beats i like to copy the sample programme onto a new programme in order to filter out my bassline...however if for example i want to copy events from the sample programme to my new filtered bass line programe it doesnt work...ny one else have this problem

I thought I was the only one having this problem!

I've had a lot of problems copying events from one track to another. It's very, very, very hit or miss for me. ALSO, you can't copy specific pad events. I could have sworn we could do this in the past.

ive never had an issue with this up until now...i havent seen it posted ny where might list it in bug reports. hopefully can get sum awnsers...i use that method alot in my workflow...very frustarting

Ok guys, I've only got a chance to respond to this now.

Copying events does work but it seems to have changed a bit on 1.8.

1) Seq Edit
2) Select #4 Copy Events

3) Here you will see the copy events from and copy events to page.
You MUST select the amount of time you wish to copy. This is in the upper section where it says 'To' if you have a 4 bar loop this would normally go up to 5 or if it's a 2 bar loop it would normally go up to 3. This number won't go beyond the total amount of sequence/events you can copy, so if you wish to copy the whole event put it to the highest number it will go to.

4) In the 'Copy Events To' section now select the track you wish to copy these events to.
5) Select the time you want these events to start from. Once again you can't go beyond the total amount of bars you have set up in your overall sequence. In most cases you will put this to Time:001:01:00 (the default setting) as this will make a like for like copy in your selected track.
6)Select how many copies you wish to make (default is 1)
7) Now select 'Replace' or 'Merge' option

Voila!

What seems to have caused the confusion is having to select the 'To' and specify how long you want your copied events to be.
