Bug reports & end-user support for Akai's MPC Software 'controllers' including the new MPC Studio 2, the MPC Touch, MPC Renaissance & original MPC Studio and MPC StudioB lack.

With the edit>preferences bug causing crashes everytime this has now become unusable as the software has begun asking me to select my audio p0reference everytime on start up, even if I load up an old project which had the Ren set as an audio interface.

Soon after the reading 'computer stopped communicating' comes up on the Ren screen.

This is a major bug as it renders using the MPC Ren impossible at this point on this PC at least. I do have a laptop which runs Win 8.1 and it's fine on that and I'll use that until some sort of help comes from Akai rectifying this unfortunate situation.

I'd normally have a more fine tuned idea of what causes something but with such a preventative bug that's impossible so I'll have to leave this one solely up tp the experts.

Frustrating and reminds me why so many are returning to hardware...although that world is not all roses and sweet smelling fragrances either

Anyway, let's see what happens.
