'Release' Setting?

Been a longtime JJOS user, just picked up a Studio. Is there a way to add release at the end of each slice before converting to a program (like in JJ)? I tried playing with the envelopes, effects etc, but the samples end too abruptly. Has anyone found a workaround for this?

No, there's no additive release option when chopping (as found in recycle), odd omission considering this was present in the mpc1000 os, hopefully they'll add it in the future as its essential IMO. Obviously you can mess with the envelope in the program, but this is subtractive so not the same thing.
