Awhile back there was a thread for bigger feature ideas that people would be willing to pay for, like in OS 2.0. This thread is for smaller feature requests like workflow improvements - easier to implement things that would be very helpful to people. As evidenced by the way lazy chop is implemented etc. the team is into workflow improvements. Here are a few to start:
Copy a pad from one program to another. This is a feature that I would use on a daily basis in creating new kits. Another idea along these lines is the ability to bring in a new kit starting at any pad - for instance if I have the 16 pads on bank A filled, this feature would allow one to bring over another 16 pad kit and have it start on pad 1 of bank B. This would allow much quicker creation of 8 bank kits, which are helpful at times in ways beyond having each 16 pad kit on a separate track.
Holding shift down on the Main screen to change the Track + and Track - buttons to SEQ + and SEQ - buttons. This little addition would help immensely. One example would be while going through similar sequences changing the program on each one. It would greatly reduce the number of clicks\moving around with arrow keys to do it.
Option\alt click on an effect in the mixer to disable it. Along those same lines, but not sure if this is a bigger feature - a global effects bypass button.
It would be great to hear some more ideas on workflow improvement.
