when I record vinyl samples to ren, the tempo is sped up.

I'm running my record player directly into the ren to sample from vinyl, but every time I play a record, the tempo is very sped up. The rpm on my record player is set to 33 and I don't see any record settings on the mpc to slow it down. Any help would be much appreciated.

Sample tempo... or I believe it Root Pitch from sample record screen?

Sounds like a mismatch between the recorded sample rate and bit depth and the global settings for playback. That's just a guess though as I don't know how the Ren handles audio playback.
