Is there a way to send midi into pro tools from the mpc Ren? I have a $40 midi controller that sends midi to pro tools with no problem but the $1000 thing that I purchased that says Midi Production Center Rennaissance on it does not send midi to pro tools! I have tried every setting available. Has anyone else been able to accomplish this? I have even tried putting the Ren in midi mode which I don't want, just for troubleshooting purposes.
My $40 controller will even send midi to pro tools when plugged into the usb hub on the Ren! Not sure why this has to be so complicated. This could be a pro tools issue because i can send midi to ableton Live from the Ren just fine. Thanks for any help.
