Hi im having a really hard time syncing these 2 together..Heres what i have tried and done!

1.Mpc studio midi out to Mv-8000 In
2.Mpc studio midi in to Mv-8000 output port A
3.Mv-8000 set to slave mode (Midi clock output port A on)-(MMC output port A Slave Midi)-(MTC OFF Port A and B) so i can control it from the mpc studio (transport, rec, play etc)
4.In the mpc software Sync tab---->Receive midi clock---->Send Midi clock--->To Mpc Port 1 (I also tried mpc public port as well and also device control MMC send and receive.
5.Active midi input tab i have 4 options (mpc port 1,mpc public, akai pro internal midi oxygen 49 key keyboard) i checked mpc port 1 at first didn't work so i tried the other 3 and nadda.I tried the (Midi mapping output mpc port 1) as well as the others.
6.

After many hours of trying i got the mv-8000 to control a plugin hybrid i think and i heard sound from the hybrid plugin..So i tried to do the same procedure on the studio set the ports up in a midi track on the software to control sounds (Trigger) from the mv-8000 and i cant for some reason.

1.Just some cliff notes you have to set the correct channels up on the mv-8000 to control external gear which i have (A-1,A-2 B-1,B-2 etc it has 2 output ports A and B and 1 midi input port) I've tried both and different cables just in case and in reverse order.
2.I set the Mv-8000 as master and i'm able to control the mpc software and hardware (Start, stop, play, record etc)
3.So out of frustration i fired up protools to see if i could maybe use the mpc hardware to control protools transport and with the mv-8000 being slaved have it all play from one controller (MPC) nope!

So to sum it up i want to control my mv-8000 slaved to the mpc software running in protools for easy tracking my sounds out.Or control my mv-8000 in slave mode standalone.Any ideas?
