There is probably a ridiculously easy fix for this, but there's nothing in the manual for it.

When I adjust the master volume knob in the UI (circled in the picture), the knob easily drops to -INF db and there seems to be nothing I can do to return it to any other setting (using a mouse). It's just locked at -INF db.

Is there a shortcut key or something in the hardware/software that can get me out of this mess. This has been happening to me in every version of the software since I bought this Ren 2 years ago and it's now starting to piss me off as there are several song ideas I have now trapped with no audio output (saved them by mistake thinking I could adjust it in a future fix).

Can anyone help me fix this?

Oh yeah...specs
Windows 7, PC - 64 bit /16gRAM using latest software update 1.8.2 (or something like that)...

i've had the same problem, i think since 1.7. same problem on the metronome volume as well. im on windows 8, 64 bit.

i just stay away from those controls now. on my system tho, if i use the scroll wheel on my mouse i can adjust the controls there just fine! bizarre. try it out.

Solved! Nice work. Thanks, that was something I hadn't tried. Left clicking it, like any other knob on the interface, doesn't seem to work, but hovering over it and using the scroll wheel works just fine.
